The UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF)
Walailak University prioritizes quality teaching and learning management. In addition to the courses offered, the quality of teaching staff is what the university places much importance on. As a result, we have adopted The United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), United Kingdom, an internationally recognized teaching and learning system, and apply it to create the culture of quality teaching and learning as well as academic staff’s professionalism.
The Higher Education Academy (HEA) or Advance HE, a national independent organization, has developed the UKPSF Professional Higher Education Standards Framework to assess and certify courses for improving the teaching quality of teachers. In collaboration with higher education institutions, Advance HE provides training and assessment of teaching quality to certify the teaching professionals according to four levels of Descriptors: Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow and Highest Principal Fellow.
